Officers were called at 12.33am on Saturday, 6 July, to reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist near the junction of Cable Street and Cannon Street Road, E1. Police attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
Several roads in the area remain closed as detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) conduct their enquiries. Authorities are appealing to any witnesses or individuals who have dash cam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
