Young Man Fatally Stabbed in Leigh
A murder probe is underway after 27-year-old Jack O’Brien was stabbed to death on Tuesday night, December 3, in Leigh. Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a stabbing. Jack was taken to hospital but tragically died from his wounds.
Police Launch Murder Investigation
Detectives are hunting the attacker. A police spokesperson said:
“This was a shocking act of violence that has resulted in the tragic loss of a young man’s life. We are determined to bring those responsible to justice and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to contact us immediately.”
Officers are conducting house-to-house inquiries and scouring CCTV footage, desperate for any leads.
