Man Stabbed at Archway Station in Early Morning Attack
A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed at Archway Underground Station in north London early today.
Emergency Services Race to Scene
Emergency crews were called to the station at 6:13am on Thursday, April 25, following reports of a stabbing. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, including a fast response paramedic, arrived swiftly.
They found the victim with a stab wound to his leg. After treatment on site, he was taken as a priority to a major trauma centre for urgent care.
Station Shut Briefly as Police Investigate
The British Transport Police (BTP) temporarily closed Archway Station during the emergency response. The station has since reopened, though commuters faced some minor disruption.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 6:13am today (25 April) to reports of a stabbing at Archway Underground Station, N19. We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene. We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
No Arrests Yet – Police Seek Witnesses
The circumstances of the stabbing remain unclear. No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
