Five People Rescued After Vessel Breakdown Near Redcliffe

A group of five people was safely towed back to shore after their vessel experienced mechanical issues near Redcliffe on Saturday night.

Volunteer Marine Rescue (VMR) Bribie Island responded after a 7.4-metre vessel, owned by a VMR Bribie member, suffered motor problems while out on the water. Redcliffe crews assisted in towing the stricken boat back to Spinnaker Sound Marina.

Thanks to the quick and coordinated efforts of the rescue teams, all five people on board were brought back safely without injury.
