Teen stabbed in Southwark park – rushed to hospital

Shocking Attack at Newington Gardens

A 19-year-old man was stabbed at Newington Gardens, Harper Road, Southwark, late on the evening of April 11. Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police, were called to the scene at around 9.40pm after reports of a serious assault.

The victim was found injured and taken to hospital. Thankfully, his wounds are non-life-threatening.

Man Charged – Police Launch Witness Appeal

Police have charged a man with wounding with intent. He has already appeared in court, though his identity remains under wraps.

A police spokesperson urged the public:

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident at Newington Gardens on April 11 or who may have information that could assist our investigation to please get in touch.”
