A teenager has been taken to hospital following a stabbing at a park in Southwark, south London.
The incident took place at Newington Gardens on Harper Road at around 9.40pm on April 11. Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police, rushed to the scene after reports of a serious assault.
A 19-year-old male victim was found injured and was transported to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries were later confirmed as non-life changing.
Man Charged Following Investigation
The Met Police have confirmed that a man has been charged with wounding with intent in connection with the stabbing. He has already appeared in court, although further details about the suspect have not yet been made public.
Officers have now launched a witness appeal and are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have relevant information to come forward.
