Police Car Crashes Into Tesla in NW London—Locals Cry Reckless Driving!

Crash Sparks Outrage Near Aerodrome Road

A police car slammed into a Tesla near the busy Aerodrome Road and A41 junction in north-west London on Wednesday afternoon. Eyewitnesses say the police vehicle, sirens blaring, sped out of a side road and collided with the Tesla, sparking fury among local residents.

Social media, especially Facebook community groups, exploded with criticism accusing officers of reckless driving.

Eyewitnesses Slam Police Driving

Susie Freeman, caught in traffic beside the Tesla, said:

“A speeding police car with siren suddenly came from the side road and hit the Tesla next to me… The female police officer driving seemed very dazed after the crash. It was 100% the police’s fault.”

Local resident Carleanne O’Donoghue added:

“They zip up the wrong side of the road all the time. Trying to turn traffic never lets them through until the last second. It’s dangerous.”

C.H. Biu blasted police practices more broadly:

“They always switch on sirens and speed like mad, then switch them off and chill back at base. It’s ridiculous.”

Traffic Chaos and Frustrated Drivers

The smash caused gridlock during the school run, with tailbacks frustrating local drivers. One anonymous commuter said:

“There were about six police cars and loads of officers just standing around while we all fumed in traffic.”

Police Silence Fuels Public Concern

It remains unclear if the Metropolitan Police have admitted fault. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, though the female officer appeared dazed post-crash.

A member of the public demanded answers: “So did the police admit that was their fault or not?”

Met Police have yet to release a formal statement. UKNIP has reached out for comment.
