Police searching scrubland off Great Central Way near Watkin Road have made a chilling discovery: human remains. The finds come amid the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Malgorzata Wnuczek.

“While I appreciate this news may shock the community, I hope this discovery helps us understand what may or may not have happened to Malgorzata,” said Detective Superintendent Jenni Greenway.
“Officers will stay in the Watkin Road area to continue enquiries and provide reassurance to local residents.”
The search kicked off on Tuesday, 30 September, focusing on the scrub beside Watkin Road as police push to crack the case.
