Man, 47, Killed in Deadly Crowborough Hit-and-Run
Tragedy rocked Crowborough Friday night when a 47-year-old local was fatally struck by a car on Eridge Road.
Driver Arrested but Released on Bail
Just after 10:15pm on 17 October, emergency crews raced to the scene. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, the man died instantly.
The driver, a 35-year-old from Tunbridge Wells, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or dangerous driving. He has now been released on bail as investigations press on.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Sussex Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to step forward.
