Desperate Search Ends in Heartbreak

Louis Lobbon went missing on Monday afternoon, 20 October. Wiltshire Police launched a full-scale hunt, deploying helicopters and search teams. Despite intense efforts, including Wiltshire Search and Rescue joining the operation on Wednesday, hope faded.

Body Found Near Snodshill Roundabout

Late Tuesday evening, Louis’ body was discovered in woodland off Dorcan Way, close to Snodshill Roundabout. Wiltshire Police confirmed the grim find.

“A search was launched after Louis was reported missing – having last been seen on Monday,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said. “Sadly, a body was located in woods off Dorcan Way, Swindon last night. While formal identification has not yet taken place, Louis’ family have been informed.

“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this death. The family have asked for privacy at this very difficult time and will reach out when ready. Our thoughts are with them.”
