Tragic Crash Kills Martin Rogers, 31, in Andover
Martin Rogers, 31, from Bridge Street, Andover, died after a collision with a grey Vauxhall Corsa on Smannell Road at the junction with Cricketers Way. The smash happened around 5.10pm on 25 February.
Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute
Martin’s family have spoken out, mourning the “kind soul” they lost. They said: “Martin was someone that was deeply loved. He had a kind soul and was a caring person to all that he met.
“He will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and always in our hearts.
“We love you, lots of love from mum, brother Dean, sister Charlene, partner Dani and all who knew him. We would also like to thank the ambulance service for everything they did for him.”
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses
Sgt Mark Furse of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit urged the public to come forward: “We are continuing our investigations into the exact circumstances of this collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed it to get in touch.
If you saw the grey Vauxhall Corsa before or during the crash, or have dash cam footage, please contact us.”

Suspect Arrested and Released
An 18-year-old man from Andover was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released but remains under investigation.
