Brutal Baseball Bat Attack on Walsall Sex Worker Shocks Birmingham
A Birmingham man has been found guilty after a savage assault on a sex worker near a car park on Birmingham Street, Walsall.

Simon Tang, 56, stunned the court by pulling a baseball bat from his car boot and repeatedly bashing his victim. The woman suffered serious bruises to her head and legs in the vicious attack on 5 May.
Convicted of Rape and Brutal Assault
Specialist public protection officers helped secure Tang’s conviction at Birmingham Crown Court. He was found guilty of two rapes, possession of an offensive weapon, and actual bodily harm.
The Weoley Castle Road resident now awaits sentencing on 30 January.
