Serious Hythe Collision: Police Launch Urgent Appeal

Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to a serious crash involving two vehicles on the A2 coastbound at Bean early Sunday morning.

Two fire engines arrived at the scene, where firefighters swiftly deployed hydraulic cutting tools, including the jaws of life, to free one trapped driver.

Air Ambulance & Police Assist

Once freed, the injured motorist was handed over to the Kent Air Ambulance team (HEMS) for urgent medical care. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service were also on site, helping to manage the incident.
