Benjamin Katabana Held Over Deadly Knife Attack
Benjamin Katabana, 27, from Somerleyton Street, Norwich, has been charged with murder. The Congolese national is due before magistrates this Monday following a deadly stabbing at student flats in Norwich.
Early Morning Horror at Somerleyton House
Police rushed to Somerleyton House shortly before 5:30am last Saturday after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a man in his 30s fatally wounded at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed the victim died from a stab wound to the chest.
Student Flats Turned Crime Scene
Somerleyton House, known as “professional and student accommodation,” houses 59 rooms across multiple flats. The community is reeling after violence shattered the usually quiet building.
