Young Man Stabbed to Death in Shocking Battersea Attack

Detectives have named the victim of a brutal stabbing in Battersea. Tai Folkes, 25, from Lambeth, was found with life-threatening wounds after a violent brawl broke out on Thessaly Road just after 6pm on Monday, 2 March.
Despite desperate efforts by paramedics, Tai was pronounced dead at hospital. Police have offered support to his grieving family.
Two Men Arrested, Now on Bail
Officers arrested two men, aged 28 and 38, at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. Both have since been released on police bail as the investigation continues.
The Met’s Major Investigation Team has taken over the murder probe.
Police Plea: Witnesses Urged to Speak Out
“Our thoughts remain with Tai’s family and loved ones,” said Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie. “We urgently appeal to anyone who saw the incident or spotted anything suspicious in Battersea on 2 March to come forward.
“We especially want to hear from anyone near Thessaly Road, Patmore Estate by Costcutter between 5:45pm and 6:15pm, or around Battersea Park Road and Stewart’s Road between 6:10pm and 6:20pm. Did you witness groups fighting, men running, or have any dash-cam or CCTV footage?”
