The brain child of the idea came from the local vicar Linda Bushell the local minister at St Peter’s of Shorwell. The idea was to get people off their Ipad and get them to come out and bring the community together. Linda conducted her Easter Sunday service at St Peter’s surround by 120 people and 200 Sheep that had been made by the locals, school children and church members. The uptake has been great said Linda.
Islanders and visitors alike have flocked to see the amazing creations that the residents of Shorwell have made over 200 have been housed in the church with many leaving their creations in the front gardens for other to see.
