A man has been charged with murder following the death of Alyson Nelson in Whitehead on Saturday evening
The 64-year-old was pronounced dead in a house in Victoria Avenue after police received reports of a stabbing. The man, aged 66, is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. Police said as is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
