Police Ban Unlicensed Rave Across Epping Area
A sudden police order has shut down plans for an unlicensed music event in the CM16 postcode, covering Epping, Theydon Bois, Thornwood, North Weald Bassett, and Epping Green.
The ban kicked in at 10pm on Saturday, 21 November and lasts until 10am Sunday, 22 November.
COVID Rules Force Crackdown on Illegal Party
Authorities acted after receiving intelligence about the planned event, which would break the Government’s strict COVID-19 regulations.
Police warned the event would be a “clear and blatant breach” of the rules designed to keep the public safe.
