Victim Named in Shocking Westminster Shooting
Detectives have revealed the name of the man fatally shot in Westminster last week. Tikquaan Stephenson-Walters, 28, was killed in a brutal attack on Bravington Road, W9, sparking a police hunt for the gunman.
Harrowing Night Ends in Tragedy
Police were called just after 11pm on Wednesday, 4 September, following reports of gunshots. Despite emergency teams’ best efforts, Tikquaan was pronounced dead at the scene less than an hour later. He lived locally in Queen’s Park, and his grieving family are receiving specialist support.
Family Plea and Investigation Underway
“Tikquaan was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and grandson, not only to his family but to the entire community. His smile brightened every room. He mentored young people and had so much to offer. This senseless act of violence has devastated us and the entire community.”
A post-mortem is scheduled for 12 September. No arrests have been made.
Police Appeal for Information
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley is leading the probe. He said Tikquaan was confronted by a lone suspect on a white moped who fired at close range before fleeing down Marban Road.
“We are releasing images of the suspect today and urgently need anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage, or any other information, to come forward.”
Investigators say Tikquaan had no gang links and the motive remains unknown.
