Knife-Wielding Thief Strikes Four Times in One Night

Four men in their 20s were robbed at knifepoint on Tuesday, 24 November 2020. Each victim was threatened by a man demanding their mobile phones—and ordered to reset them before handing them over.

Four Robberies in Bournemouth in Just Two Hours

  • 9:25pm: Near Lansdowne Roundabout
  • 9:35pm: By East 1 near Bournemouth Beach
  • 11:00pm: Junction of Lansdowne Road and Holdenhurst Road
  • 11:15pm: St Pauls Roundabout by Asda

The spree didn’t stop there. Another robbery with similar MO happened just six days later, at 11:30pm on Monday 30 November on Howard Road. This time, the victim was a man in his 40s.

Prime Suspect: Tall, Dark, and Dangerous

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s, around six foot tall. He wore a dark blue Puffa-style jacket, dark beanie hat, black trousers, and dark shoes.

“We’re treating these robberies as linked and believe it’s the same offender,” said Detective Constable Christian Bryant of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team. “We have CCTV footage we’d like the public to help us identify. It’s not the best quality, but someone might recognise him.”
