Woman Found Dead in Southall Park Sparks Police Investigation

Police were called to Southall Park, Green Drive, at around 6am on Saturday, 17 July, after a woman was found unresponsive. Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene but sadly, the woman, believed to be in her 40s, was pronounced dead.

Post-Mortem Fails to Reveal Cause of Death

A post-mortem started the very next day at Fulham Mortuary, but no clear cause of death was found. Toxicology results are still pending as detectives dig deeper into what happened.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Inspector Sukh Kanwar appealed for help, saying:

“Our thoughts and sympathies go out to the family. Officers are working hard to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragedy. We urge anyone who was inside or near the park between 10:30pm on Friday, 16 July, and 1:30am on Saturday, 17 July, to come forward if they saw or heard anything useful.”

So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation continues as detectives work to piece together the events leading to the woman’s untimely death.
