Violent Attack on Upminster Train Platform Shocks Commuters
Chaos erupted on the 5.15pm service from Fenchurch Street to Upminster on Tuesday 15 March when a man launched a brutal attack on a fellow passenger.
Man Threatens and Follows Victims Between Train Carriages
Two men were targeted by a stranger who began making violent threats. The victims moved to a different carriage—but the attacker followed them relentlessly. When the train pulled into Upminster, the pair tried to escape by switching carriages again, but the aggressive man persisted.
Brutal Assault Leaves Victim with Broken Nose
As one of the men boarded the train, the attacker yanked him back onto the platform and ruthlessly punched and kicked him in the face. The second man stepped in, pulling the victim back onto the train as the attacker tried to continue the assault.
The victim suffered a broken nose, a cut lip, and severe bruising in the vicious attack.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
