Shock Attack on Teen Girl Riding Home from School
At around 2.20pm on Wednesday 23rd November, a 14-year-old girl was punched in the arm while cycling along Broom Way. The young victim was on her way home from school when an unknown man struck her without warning.
Police Hunting Elderly Cyclist Suspect
The attacker is described as:
- White male
- Late 60s to early 70s
- Slim build, about 5’9″ to 5’10”
- Grey or white stubbly beard
- Riding a dark-coloured bike with curly handlebars and a luggage tray carrying a bag
- Wearing a cycle helmet
Witness Appeal: Police Urge Help
Anyone who saw the assault or was driving along Broom Way at the time is urged to check dashcam footage. Police ask witnesses to call 101, quoting incident number 44220476008.
