Man Dies in Early Morning Crash on Sunday
A fatal crash involving a black Vauxhall Corsa shocked locals at 3.40am on Sunday, 3 April. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road Closed for Hours During Investigation
Police shut the road to carry out a detailed collision investigation. It reopened around 11.20am after officers finished examining the scene.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage
Sergeant David Kerr said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family of the man who died. We are appealing for information to assist with our enquiries.
