Three Arrested in Sevenoaks ATM Scam Sting
Police have nabbed three suspects after a string of distraction thefts targeting elderly victims at cash machines in Sevenoaks.
High-Speed Chase Ends in Surrey
The suspects were tracked by a police helicopter from a Sevenoaks bank straight to Warlingham, Surrey. The driver ditched the car and tried to escape by hopping a fence onto a railway line. Officers caught him hiding in a shed nearby. Two women traveling with him were also arrested.
Cloned Plates and Cash Seized in Raids
Police searches turned up a cloned number plate on the getaway car. Following raids at the suspects’ homes in Beckton, London, officers seized ten mobile phones and over £1,000 in cash.
