Two Seriously Injured in Horror Hatfield Broad Oak Crash
Police are hunting witnesses after a brutal head-on smash in Hatfield Broad Oak left two people with life-changing injuries.
High-Speed Horror on B183
The crash unfolded at 4.30pm on Friday 29 January on the B183. A sleek Black Audi R8, heading from Hatfield Broad Oak towards The Four Ashes in Takeley, collided head-on with a white Ford C-Max.
It’s thought the Audi was trying to overtake a Volvo at the time of the collision.
Serious Injuries and Road Closure
Both drivers and passengers suffered severe injuries. They were rushed to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where they remain in serious condition.
The B183 remains closed as officers dig into what caused this terrifying crash.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
Essex Police want anyone who saw the collision or spotted the Audi R8 heading towards The Four Ashes just before the smash to come forward.
They’re also keen on any dashcam footage that could help piece together the moments leading up to the crash.
