Tragic Crash in Yardley Claims Life of 18-Year-Old
West Midlands Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a deadly crash early this morning in Yardley. An 18-year-old man died when a Hyundai i20 smashed into a tree on Coventry Road near Berkeley Road junction just after 6am.
Two Others Injured in Horror Smash
The victim’s identity has not been released, but his family have been informed and are receiving support. Two others in the car were hurt. One man suffered minor injuries, while another remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening wounds.
Road Closure and Witness Appeal
The section of Coventry Road where the crash happened is currently closed while detectives investigate. Police are keen to hear from anyone who was near the scene or has dashcam footage that could help piece together what happened.
