Knife Attack Near Romford Station: Man Slashed, Police Hunt Suspects
Police were scrambled to Romford railway station at 6.39pm following reports of a violent disturbance. Witnesses said a man was being chased by knife-wielding suspects in the area.
Victim Treated for Slash Injuries
The victim, a man in his twenties, later arrived at hospital with slash wounds. Thankfully, doctors have confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.
Crime Scene Secured, No Arrests Yet
Detectives from the Met’s East Area Basic Command Unit are on the case. They’ve sealed off a large crime scene for investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.
