Two men have been locked up after being caught by officers at HMP Parc Prison in Bridgend.

Birmingham Man Gets Over Two Years

Frasal Ali, 35, from Birmingham, was handed two years and three months behind bars. Ali pleaded guilty to supplying cannabis, using criminal property, and assaulting an emergency worker.

Rotherham Man Sentenced for Drug Crime

Mubasher Zaman, 36, from Rotherham, received three years and four months for his role in supplying cannabis and evading drug import restrictions.

How the Bust Went Down

  • Ali was stopped from leaving Parc Prison by organised crime officers.
  • During a car search, Ali kicked an officer.
  • Officers found cannabis and more than £3,000 in cash.
  • Zaman was in the passenger seat during the stop.

Both men’s phones were seized, revealing messages that linked them to a large-scale UK-wide drug ring.

Sentencing at Sheffield Crown Court

The pair were sentenced on Friday, April 10, at Sheffield Crown Court after pleading guilty to their crimes.
