CCTV Appeal Launched After Burglary Incident in Broadstairs

Authorities in Broadstairs have initiated a CCTV appeal in their efforts to identify a man following a reported burglary incident.

According to detectives, the alleged burglary occurred on Saturday, 2 March 2024, between 11 am and 7 pm, at a property situated in Park Avenue. During the break-in, items including cash and jewellery were reportedly stolen.

East Kent CID is actively investigating the incident, and in a bid to progress their inquiries, officers have released CCTV images of an individual they believe may have pertinent information regarding the burglary.

Members of the public who recognize the individual or possess any relevant information are urged to come forward and assist the authorities. They can do so by contacting the police at 01843 222289, quoting reference number 46/34592/24.

Additionally, individuals wishing to provide information anonymously can reach out to the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555111. They can also submit information via the organization’s website.

The release of CCTV images is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat burglary incidents and ensure the safety and security of residents in Broadstairs and surrounding areas. Citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities promptly.
