In the aftermath of a violent assault in the early hours of Sunday morning (11/2) in Reading, a man has been charged with attempted murder today (13/2).
Krisma Anthony hailing from Woolwich, London, faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a knife blade or sharply pointed article in a public place. He is scheduled to appear before Reading Magistrates’ Court today.
Another individual, a 25-year-old man also from London, was arrested earlier today on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
The charges and arrest stem from an incident at 2:04 am at the Walkabout Bar on Wiston Terrace in Reading, where a man was stabbed during a confrontation.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was swiftly transported to the hospital and remains in a critical condition.
Detective Inspector Nick Hind, the senior investigating officer, emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “This incident has occurred in a busy venue.
