Two Lanes Shut Down Causing Lengthy Delays on Motorway

A person has been rushed to the hospital following a collision involving multiple vehicles on the M2 motorway near Blue Bell Hill. The incident occurred just before junction 3 for Chatham and Rochester, leading to a partial blockage of the motorway.

According to reports, two vehicles were involved in the crash, prompting the closure of two lanes at Blue Bell Hill. As a result, commuters are experiencing significant delays in the area, particularly near Junction 3 for Rochester and Chatham.

Emergency services, including ambulance crews, swiftly responded to the scene after receiving reports of the crash shortly after 4:30 pm. One person was attended to by medical teams and subsequently transported to Medway Maritime Hospital for further treatment.

The exact cause of the collision and the severity of injuries sustained by those involved remain unclear at this time. However, authorities are actively working to manage the situation and facilitate the safe clearance of the motorway.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and seek alternative routes if possible to avoid the congestion and delays on the M2 near Blue Bell Hill. Further updates regarding the incident are expected as the situation develops.
