Police were alerted to a disturbance in South Grove, Walthamstow, at 9.14pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Responding officers arrived swiftly, within five minutes of the call, but upon arrival, found neither a victim nor a suspect at the scene.
Coincidentally, around the same time, a man presented himself at a local hospital with a stab wound. Although the severity of his injury initially caused concern, medical professionals later determined that his condition was not life-threatening or life-changing.
Investigators believe that the man sustained his injury in the vicinity of South Grove, prompting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police are urging anyone with information related to the event to come forward and assist with the ongoing inquiry.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The police have issued a plea for cooperation from the public and ask anyone with pertinent information to contact them immediately by dialling 101 and quoting CAD 6956/23Mar.
