The family of 21-year-old Stephanie Brewer have hit out at the system, saying she was failed at every turn before she was found dead on Gosport High Street last Friday. Stephanie, who battled drug addiction from the age of 18 and suffered from mental health problems, was “let down 110%,” according to her sister Michelle.
Family’s Heartbreaking Plea
Michelle spoke from their Gosport home, urging for change so no one else has to endure the same fate. She insisted their desperate pleas for help were ignored, leaving Stephanie to suffer alone.
“I just feel she was let down,” said Michelle.
Raising Awareness to Prevent Tragedy
The family want Stephanie’s story to shine a light on the failings in support services for vulnerable young people struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
