Lawrence Neeley has now been jailed after he subjected his victim to a series of violent assaults last year. The woman was forced to endure a period of sustained abuse and threats, between August and September 2022.

During this time, Neeley caused bruising to the pregnant victim after he threw an axe at her stomach before swinging the weapon at her arm. Other assaults included Neeley cutting the victim’s chin with a knife and headbutting her.
