Large Sum Stolen in Mid-Afternoon Break-In
Between 2.30pm and 3.10pm on Saturday 12 November 2022, burglars struck a property on Leopold Road, making off with a significant amount of cash.
East Kent CID Nabs Suspects
After a swift investigation by the East Kent Criminal Investigation Department, 26-year-old Paris Campbell-Mitchell from Ramsgate was charged with conspiracy to burgle.
Campbell-Mitchell was released on bail and is set to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 19 January 2023.
Another Arrest in the Burglar Plot
A 31-year-old man from Margate was earlier charged with conspiracy to burgle over the same incident.
He appeared in court on Wednesday 30 November and has been remanded in custody. His next hearing will be at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday 3 January.
