Terrifying Google Searches Link Cardiff Trio to Young Boy’s Death

Dark Web Activity Uncovered

At Cardiff Crown Court, shocking details emerged of Angharad Williamson frantically searching for “five-year-old dead Bridgend” not once, but twice on the fatal night. The 30-year-old, along with partner John Cole, 40, and an unnamed 14-year-old, stand accused of murdering Logan Mwangi. His battered body was found dumped in the River Ogmore, Sarn, Bridgend, on July 31, 2021, at 5:45am.

Bizarre Late-Night YouTube Habits

Evidence from a Google account linked to Williamson’s phone revealed chilling viewing habits deep into the early hours. Michelle Claxton, a South Wales Police intelligence analyst, testified that 17 videos were watched by 2:15am, including 27 views of a gory “Dr Pimple Popper” cyst removal clip over six weeks. Defence barrister John Hipkin QC questioned whether Williamson was the actual user but confirmed the videos highlighted “particular interests”.

CCTV Reveals Grim Movements

Court heard CCTV footage caught Cole and the teenager carrying a bundle around 2:43am on July 31. Cole admitted this was Logan’s body. Further footage showed mysterious activity in Logan’s bedroom that same night, with the light flicking on and off.

Charges Beyond Murder

  • All three face charges of perverting the course of justice.
  • They are accused of moving Logan’s body, removing his clothes, washing bloodied bedding, and filing a false missing person report.
  • Williamson and the teen deny perverting justice; Cole admits it.
  • Both adults deny causing or allowing Logan’s death.

Last summer, Logan’s body showed 56 catastrophic injuries consistent with a fall from great height or a car crash — evidence that horrifies the court this trial continues.
