A 72-year-old man has been convicted of stealing a Poppy Appeal charity box from a Sainsbury’s store in Lewisham.

Glenard Beaumont, of Auckland Hill, West Norwood, appeared at Croydon Crown Court on Monday, January 27, where he pleaded guilty to the theft.
