Five people have been found guilty over the savage killing of 14-year-old Ibrahima Seck after a gripping month-long trial at Manchester Crown Court.
Teen Held: ‘You Murdered Ibrahima’
A 14-year-old boy was convicted of murdering young Ibrahima. Two others, aged 14 and 17, were found guilty of manslaughter. The deadly attack unfolded in north Manchester last June as Ibrahima was heading to a football match.
Two Adults Jailed for Helping Attackers
Keri Dobson, 37, and Naomi Heavens, 39, both from Moston, were also found guilty of assisting offenders connected to the brutal crime.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Platten said: “Today’s conviction cannot ease the family’s heartbreak, but we hope it brings them a measure of justice and acknowledgement of the suffering they have endured.”
Sentencing Day Looms
All five defendants will learn their fate at Manchester Crown Court on 27 February 2025. The community waits anxiously for justice for Ibrahima.
