The London Air Ambulance landed near Southmere Lake just before 1 p.m. on Sunday following reports of a serious incident at Penton House.
According to sources, a person was attacked at their front door, suffering head injuries after being beaten and slashed in the back. Thankfully, the air ambulance was not needed for transport, as it was dispatched as a precautionary measure.
A Spokesman for the Met Polcie said: Police were called at approximately 12:20hrs on Sunday, 13 October to reports of a fight in Hartslock Drive, SE2.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
A man, believed to be in his 20s, was found suffering a cut and a head injury. He was taken to the hospital for treatment – his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
