London Air Ambulance Scrambles After Brutal Doorstep Attack
Drama unfolded near Southmere Lake just before 1pm on Sunday as the London Air Ambulance touched down following a serious assault at Penton House.
Man Beaten and Slashed at Front Door
Sources reveal a man in his 20s was viciously attacked at his own doorstep. He suffered cuts to his back and a head injury after being beaten and slashed. Paramedics rushed to the scene, though thankfully the air ambulance wasn’t needed for transport—dispatched purely as a precaution.
Police Confirm Incident and Ongoing Investigation
“Police were called at approximately 12:20pm on Sunday, 13 October after reports of a fight in Hartslock Drive, SE2,” a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended. The victim was taken to hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made yet. Enquiries continue.”
