A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Hammersmith.
Suspect to Appear in Court
Ahmed Said, 31, of Lena Gardens, Hammersmith, is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19 March at 10:00am. He faces a murder charge linked to the death of an 18-year-old man on Sunday, 15 March.
Victim Named, Family Calls for Privacy
The victim has been identified as Berkan Demir, aged 18. His family have requested privacy during this difficult time.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
The post-mortem confirmed Berkan died from sharp force trauma to the left side of his neck. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them via 101, quoting reference 5093/15MAR.
