Chaos erupted late Friday evening in Northeast Washington, D.C., as at least four to five people were shot in a brutal mass shooting.
A massive police presence swarmed the area after multiple gunshots rang out, with DC Fire and EMS teams rushing victims to nearby hospitals.
Police Launch Intense Investigation
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) confirmed several gunshot victims but have yet to reveal their conditions or any suspects.

Residents Describe Terror and Mayhem
Local witnesses reported hearing 10 to 15 gunshots before emergency sirens flooded the streets. One resident said:
“I heard rapid gunfire—at least 10 to 15 shots. Then, there were sirens everywhere.”
Authorities have not confirmed any motive or if they have a suspect in custody. They’re urging anyone with information or video footage to get in touch immediately.
