Thames Valley Cop Charged Over Child Sex Communication
A Thames Valley Police officer has been hit with serious charges and suspended from duty. PC Daniel Hunt, 32, is accused of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
Incident Linked to Wallingford in December
The alleged offence took place in Wallingford back in December 2023. Hunt, who was based at Maidenhead Police Station, was arrested in January 2024 following an investigation into the matter.
Facing Court in November
PC Hunt is set to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 29, 2024. Thames Valley Police have confirmed his suspension and are cooperating fully with the legal process.
“Due to the nature of the charges, no further details will be provided at this time,” a Thames Valley Police spokesperson said.
