Seven Busted in Hackney Crackdown

Early morning raids in Hackney have landed seven people in court on serious drug charges.

Teen and Young Adults Charged

On Wednesday, 22 April, police executed warrants across Hackney, leading to the arrest and charging of seven individuals aged between 16 and 26. The charges include conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin, possession of heroin and cannabis, and being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.

Who’s Facing the Music?

  • 16-year-old male: Charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine, conspiracy to supply heroin, and possession of heroin.
  • Tyek Campbell, 21: Charged with supply and conspiracy charges for crack cocaine and heroin.
  • James Kessie, 26: Charged with being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.
  • Charlie Wheeler, 18: Charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin, plus possession of cannabis.
  • Deron Leiba, 20: Charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
  • Sebastian McKenzie-Doyle, 19: Charged with supply-related offences for crack cocaine, heroin, and possession of cannabis.
  • Kahirah Marshall-McDavid, 20: Charged with involvement in supplying crack cocaine and heroin.

Remanded and in Custody

All seven appeared at 1 Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 23 April, and were remanded in custody pending further hearings.

Additionally, a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested during the raids and remain in custody as inquiries continue.
