Swedish prosecutors have launched a preliminary murder investigation. The suspect behind the tragedy remains unknown. Prosecutor Stina Brindmark said the probe aims to uncover exactly what happened during the incident.

“Unfortunately, in the morning we received information from the Swedish side that we have to pass on this terrible news to the family because both the boy and the woman are dead,” said Polish police spokesperson Mariusz Ciarka.
