Two Drug Dealers Nabbed in Hull Crackdown

Police swooped on Ryde Street in Hull and arrested two men caught selling dangerous drugs on Thursday, 30 April 2020.

Major Drug Haul Found After Arrests

The arrests led officers to raid a nearby property where they uncovered a large stash of “spice”, crack cocaine, diamorphine, amphetamines, and cannabis. The haul highlights the scale of the local drug problem.

Heavy Sentences for Hull Dealers

On Wednesday 23 December, 23-year-olds Dovydas Malinauskas of Folkestone Street and Craig Wilkinson of Reigate Close appeared in court. Malinauskas was slapped with a hefty 7.5-year jail term, while Wilkinson received 3 years after pleading guilty to possessing and dealing these harmful substances in the community.

Police Urge Public to Keep the Tips Coming

DC Andy Green said: “The supply of drugs in our communities causes untold misery to those living and working nearby.

“We continue to gather information from members of the public and I would encourage people to keep giving us this valuable information.

“Our team remain proactive in taking down these criminals, and as a result we are continuing to reduce the drugs supply that attempts to flood our communities.
