Teens Crash Kia Picanto Through Hotel Railings at Dawn!
Early Sunday morning, hotel guests woke to a jaw-dropping sight: a teenager had smashed through sturdy railings and trapped his Kia Picanto right outside the hotel windows at 5 a.m.
Rescue Drama at the Scene
Thankfully, one of the two people inside the car was freed by the rescue team. The other heroically escaped on their own. Despite the chaos, both survived the smash-up.
Damage and Mystery
Emily, a shaken hotel guest, said, “At first, we thought there was a small fire. But when we looked over the railings, there was a whole car wedged in there! People were joking about parking, but seriously, no one knows how it ended up down there.”
“A large section of the railings was shattered and some stonework damaged,” she added. “It must have been a massive impact.”
Investigation Underway — Man Released on Bail
Emergency crews, including a fire engine team, were on the scene, possibly guarding the area. The hotel itself remained open, with guests casually having lunch and afternoon tea just above the crash site.
The man involved in the crash has since been released on unconditional bail as investigations continue.
