Two gangsters stormed a Southsea house on Greetham Street in the early hours, threatening a man with a knife before escaping with thousands in cash. The terrifying break-in happened around 3:15 AM on Saturday, December 16, leaving the victim shaken.

Police say the crooks woke the 54-year-old man with loud banging on his front door before forcing their way inside. They grabbed him in his bedroom, brandished a knife, and demanded money. Terrified, the victim handed over his life savings.

Key Witnesses Sought After Harrowing Raid

After the ordeal, the victim ran onto Greetham Street seeking help. He met two women who urged him to call the police. Now cops from Hampshire and Isle of Wight are desperate to find these women, believing they may have seen the burglars fleeing and hold vital clues.

“Officers have only recently received information about the victims’ interaction with these women and are keen to speak to them. It is possible they may have seen the offenders leaving the address and could have vital information to help our investigation.”
