Dangerous Mental Health Patient Flees Enfield Hospital

Mahad Abdulkadir Mahamud, 26, escaped from Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield on Monday, June 13, at around 5:30pm. He was detained under the Mental Health Act but has now absconded, sparking serious safety concerns.

Serious Risk to Public

Mahamud is considered a major threat due to previous violent, random assaults on strangers. Detective Chief Inspector Paul Ridley warned:

“Mahamud has previously seriously assaulted another person completely unknown to him and is considered a serious risk to the public.”

The police urge anyone who spots him not to approach or challenge him. Instead, dial 999 immediately.
