Police Hunt Man Over Shocking Assault at Bristol Bridge

Detectives are on the lookout for a man caught on CCTV after a brutal attack on a woman in Bristol.

What Happened?

The incident took place at 9pm on Thursday, March 17, near Newfoundland Road. The attacker met the victim first on Stapleton Road, then led her to the Newfoundland Road bridge, where he assaulted her.

CCTV Image Could Crack the Case

Officers have released CCTV footage showing a man who may hold vital clues. He’s wearing a black coat, a black hat with a logo, and a distinctive snake-style ring on his finger.

“We are doing everything we can to support the victim during this difficult time,” said Detective Constable Paul Sell. “She has shown tremendous courage throughout the investigation, and we hope this appeal will bring us closer to providing closure. We’re urging anyone who recognises this man to come forward.”
